With its audiovisual (AV) system integration capabilities, Pavion delivers real time collaboration across clients’ facilities, enabling the simplicity and quality of desktop collaboration in large and complex spaces across the enterprise. Its wide range of integrated AV systems are tailored to specific needs, offering business grade conferencing and collaboration solutions, high-resolution video walls from the boardroom to command and control centers and network and security operations centers.

Recent times have seen big changes for Pavion, as the business adopted a bold M&A strategy, and over the past three years it has grown its operations from 200 employees to 2800. Proud of the seamless philosophy supporting the strategy, Pavion worked hard to create a business that operates as a single, cohesive entity, while integrating people and policies from 23 separate companies.

“We now stand as one Pavion, easy to do business with and driven by a consistent service delivery model and outstanding customer experience. A significant accomplishment resulting from our standard business transformation program including migration to one ERP and standard IT infrastructure, EIN simplification, and brand migration merging 23 companies into one,” Alan Rosenkoff, Chief Marketing Officer confirms. “We have been able to retain the legacy expertise from each of the companies to then leverage that knowledge and deliver seamless services. Our culture is the reason why the company has had success and stability in its workforce, with some employees working with the company for over 50 years.

“As a result, we have the resources of a large company but the customer focus and agility of a smaller enterprise. Joe Oliveri, our CEO, always asserts that we don’t necessarily strive to be the biggest in the industry, but we are certainly focused on being the best and on providing the highest possible customer experience. This focus on service delivery differentiates us from the competition – while many companies can provide the same products as us, our innovation and how we deliver our solutions set us apart.”

Having now established over 70 locations in the United States and serving 23 countries, Pavion still continues to expand to Connect and Protect more customers around the world, bringing best-in-class fire, security, and integration solutions together. From day one, the team problem solves with customers through the design, engineering, implementation, integration, testing, and training phases, also offering ongoing maintenance, management, test and inspect, monitoring, and subscription services.

“We work with a variety of customers,” Susan Post, Chief Strategy and Integration Officer, elaborates, “from small commercial enterprises all the way through to large data centers and hospitals, for example. We also appreciate that some customers will just be starting out, and we’re able to scale our offering alongside their growth. At Pavion, we very much focus on creating long-term partnerships. We believe in enduring relationships, helping our customers stay connected to their goals by providing dynamic service and solutions to meet every need.

“We have a strong background in data center work. By their nature, data centers are very unforgiving environments so there’s no room for error. We apply that legacy knowledge and best practice to all the sectors in which we work. Indeed, we work in some high-profile verticals, such as airports, which is another reason why customer service is so important. Even one minute of downtime in any of those types of environments is critical to operations.

“The manufacturing industry is changing all the time, so we focus on optimization and delivering best-in-class technology to our manufacturing clients,” sheSchlage MTK15-485 Multi-Technology Single Gang Reader continues. “From keeping communication and information flowing to output and plant oversight, our solutions are really all about reducing risk and providing an integrated solution to do so.”

“The video camera is one of the most powerful sensors in the world,” Alan continues, “and they are prolific today. Historically, they have been used to record footage that is then stored either on site or in a server and only accessed in the event of some type of incident or intrusion, requiring inspection. In a manufacturing environment, refocusing those sensors on processes now enables manufacturers to inexpensively develop analytics to optimize the manufacturing process. Some of our customers are working with their security video surveillance team, data scientists and engineering teams to scrutinize footage to identify inconsistencies or areas of disruption in the assembly process. By exploiting these multipurpose optical sensors, manufacturers can significantly improve process efficiency.”

“Utilizing surveillance in this way can also have a positive impact on the development of patents,” Susan adds. “If analytics show something to be deviating from the standard, then this early warning can trigger intervention to avoid unnecessary operational risk.”

“Despite our legacy expertise,” Alan shares, “as a brand, we’re still relatively new, but Pavion, as one organization, is quickly winning customers’ trust and market share. We strive to under commit but over deliver. We never say ‘no’, but rather ‘not yet’, and this transparency creates confidence. We have a really strong foundation but continue to pursue our M&A strategy to fill either pockets of geography or pockets of technology superiority that we’re looking to bring into the business.”

“We spent 2024,” Susan concludes, “building our infrastructure and integrating our teams and processes. So, now, 2025 is really about optimization and how we improve customer delivery while continuing to grow and capture market share.”
