Recently, Sliderobes has undertaken a rebranding of its manufacturing facilities with significant investments in tools and machinery. David explains how this bold move has impacted production capabilities. “At Sliderobes, we constantly strive to improve and deliver superior products and outstanding customer service. Through investments in our manufacturing facilities, we uphold the highest standards in all our operations and processes, ensuring that each task is executed perfectly the first time around,” he begins. “The recent overhaul of our factory in Portlaoise, Ireland, has brought about enhanced efficiencies. Firstly, our factory is now paperless, which is a remarkable achievement. Additionally, our team enjoys seamless access to the most up-to-date manufacturing information via our cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Anthill. For instance, in the event of any design alterations, there is no need for us to reprint the paperwork as the revised information is automatically available. As a result, our processes have been streamlined, enabling us to work in a lean and efficient way,” he adds.
Standout showroom
In addition to these enhancements, Sliderobes has launched its new showroom at the Red Cow Retail Centre in Dublin. “While the showroom has been in Ballymount since 2010, as part of Sliderobes’ 40th anniversary celebrations, we have made a significant investment in its refurbishment. As a result of this transformation, we are empowered to highlight our extensive range of modern interior design and storage solutions. Our customers are invited to walk through ten different room sets showcasing a variety of bespoke fitted furniture options, ranging from traditional sliding bedroom wardrobes and walk-in spaces to fitted living room, dining room, home office, and media units.
“Furthermore, Sliderobes’ ‘Design Studio’ concept gives our clients the opportunity to meet with our own designers, explore samples, and utilize cutting-edge 3D and virtual reality software, allowing them to visualize how our furniture will enhance their home. We are absolutely delighted with the showroom renovation. I believe it is a great representation of who we are as a brand and perfectly displays the wide variety of fitted furniture products we offer. So far, the new showroom has garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from customers too, as they have all been captivated by our designs.
