Founded by industry insider Scott Rosenbach, Bath Concepts Industries, LLC (BCI) provides bathroom remodeling services to clients across North America

Spotting a gap for stylish, affordable bathroom products, Scott Rosenbach launched Bath Concepts from his home garage. Demand quickly grew, prompting Scott to sell his retail business and fully focus on ensuring his new enterprise delivered manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

Still driven by the desire to create better bathroom solutions for homeowners and commercial organizations, Bath Concepts now has a network of over 1075 dealers, offering high-quality, accessible bathroom remodeling options. Today, it’s the largest bath remodel manufacturer and service network in North America.

The company’s founding vision has seen it through 25 years of business. As Scott himself offers: “We’re always working to create different models with the potential walk-in bathtub with marble-style wall tiles to really push the industry forward. A lot has changed over the years, especially as the company has grown, but our mission remains the same. Like us, it’s straightforward – we strive to provide the most exceptional products that set the standard for durable and stylish remodels.”

Included in Bath Concepts’ industry-leading portfolio is a range of high-tech polymer bathtubs, showers, shower doors, walls, as well as faucets and bathroom accessories. As Vice President of Marketing, Matt Glowacki, discusses: “We provide custom solutions, drawing on our wide range of available products. This comes together with our 3D rendering technology, available to each consumer; they can create their own bath and see it modelled before committing to a design. Everything is then ordered and manufactured to specifications here at our facility in Libertyville, Illinois, in the U.S.”

Scott explains that Bath Concepts manufacturing location is a strategic advantage: “Having design, engineering and manufacturing in one place accelerates innovation. Running a manufacturing operation like this means we can create custom products a lot more quickly than our competitors, who often use offshore producers. That’s something we’re really proud of.

“We carry out extensive research and development at our manufacturing facilities. For instance, we have anti-microbial technology that is infused into our high-tech polymer and prevents mold and mildew.”

Matt adds: “The bathroom can add tremendous property value, but it is the room most vulnerable to problems. This is why everything we produce is engineered to protect against water damage. Our product design and manufacturing methods make it possible to offer a lifetime warranty on our tubs, showers and walls. For anyone who has had to face the nightmare of water damage, that peace of mind means everything.”

As part of its latest evolution, the company is rebranding in 2025. Having recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, the Bath Concepts team decided to take things to the next level. As Matt discloses: “We’d gone by BCI Acrylic for many years, and now we offer much more than acrylic. It is the right time to adopt a name that is more consumer-friendly and that captures the full depth of our product offering.

“After a lot of consideration, we converted to Bath Concepts. It’s been a success in terms of consolidating our go-to-market strategy and supporting our dealer marketing efforts. The name change is just one step toward scaling the business and taking it to the next level.”

“Within Bath Concepts, we have two flagship brands – Bath Planet and Luxury Bath – these are networks of dealers that carry different lines of our product,” Matt explains. The Luxury Bath brand is a world-class leader in anti-microbial technology for custom tubs and showers. Rigorous testing has earned the certifications of UL (Underwriter Labs) and NAHB/Home Innovation Research Labs. We also work with GuildQuality – a leading consumer survey organization.

For the past 15 consecutive years, the Bath Planet brand has been awarded the Good Housekeeping seal for lab-tested quality. In 2025, it also received the Good Housekeeping Home Reno Award for Best-In-Bath. In fact, Good Housekeeping stands financially behind the product; it applies its own two-year money-back guarantee in addition to Bath Planet’s lifetime warranty. Matt details: “We’ve earned the confidence of consumers and the endorsement of the Good Housekeeping Institute. This is a testament to the strength of our design and manufacturing teams.”

Having been there from the very beginning, Scott considers how Bath Concepts has built an award-worthy working culture: “When I started the business, I knew that to be successful I’d need a team that could work together.

“As a company owner, I’ve surrounded myself with an amazing staff. Our people are experts in what they do, and without them we wouldn’t be where we are today. They do the things I can’t, and in return I do everything I can to take care of them the way they take care of our business.

“I don’t want people coming into work stressed or miserable. Our HR department works hard to ensure everyone feels supported, and that everyone has a voice. Setting that standard early on has been key to the company’s success.”

Respect, honesty, and transparency define Bath Concepts’ working environment. As Matt elaborates: “Company culture comes from the top down, and Scott has set an incredible standard for us all. We believe in cross-functional collaboration throughout the business – connecting all the pieces and allowing innovation to happen in organic and creative ways. We take everyone’s viewpoint on board, whether that’s operations, logistics, finance, customer service, technology, or our people on the manufacturing floor.”

Bolstered by 25 years of success, Bath Concepts now looks boldly to the future. The coming months hold exciting new developments for the business, as Scott reveals: “We are building a new headquarters and manufacturing facility. It will be located just down the street and will be over twice the size of our current footprint.

“Also, we are gearing up for an important new product launch. It’s a leap forward. A solid surface technology that captures the look and feel of stone, but it is easy to maintain and impervious to water. We call it PuroStone™.

“We’re also implementing new systems and technologies that will help Bath Concepts move confidently into its next chapter. We’re excited to show our dealers and consumers everything we’ve been working on and investing in over the last several months,” he concludes.
