Netstal leverages new parent company, Krones, for scale and enhanced value for customers in the Americas
Now a member of the Krones Group (Krones), a global leader in filling, packaging and process technology, Netstal AG delivers more than 80 years of injection molding excellence to the global plastics market. Together with its sister company MHT, Netstal serves customers across the Americas with high-performance injection molding machines that are recognized for exceptional speed, precision, energy efficiency and reliability. Its exceptional technology is serviced by the largest sales and service organization within Netstal’s global footprint, and the company combines local responsiveness with Swiss engineering excellence and the industrial strength of the Krones Group to deliver lasting value to their rapidly growing customer base.

“We create measurable economic impact for our customers,” begins Kevin Green, President, Americas, who now leads Netstal Americas. “Our customers are sophisticated and competitive, they invest in technology and deliver for their own customers, while improving the financial performance of their operations; think higher OEE, faster cycle times, reduced energy consumption, and lower cost per unit produced. In high-volume production environments, every improvement matters to the bottom line. We are proud to deliver these advantages to our growing customer base.
“Of course, none of this is possible without our extraordinary people,” he adds. “We continue adding to our amazing team. Our people inspire me every day, giving me great confidence that Netstal will continue to create value for many years to come. As a former customer, I have experienced firsthand the comprehensive lifecycle support Netstal offers, and I am delighted to continue investing in this team. Our portfolio includes new Netstal machines, spare parts, field service, preventive maintenance, machine refurbishment, process optimization, molds and hot runners and application support. We are expanding investments in facilities to continue our growth trajectory and build on our exemplary customer loyalty.”
As part of Krones, Netstal also offers access to broader packaging and beverage-line expertise, while its close alignment with MHT supports integrated PET preform, molds and tooling, and system-level solutions. “At Netstal, we start with customer success as our goal,” Kevin confirms. “We couldn’t be happier with the Krones relationship. Their scale and market presence have really accelerated our access to the blue-chip PET line and beverage markets. It really is a perfect synergy. The fastest, most reliable filling lines paired with the fastest, most reliable preform lines. The efficiency is next-level, and the market has responded enthusiastically.”
Industry leaders
Aside from Netstal’s product portfolio, being part of Krones enables the business to leverage the scale, expertise and innovation capacity required to accelerate development in resource-intensive areas such as integrated AI, digitalization, automation and smart factory applications. “Krones is a recognized leader in these fields, and Netstal directly benefits from that ecosystem,” Kevin states. “It allows us to bring advanced solutions to customers faster and with greater impact that would be difficult or even impossible to replicate independently. Our product roadmap and innovation pipeline are really exciting, and we look forward to bringing these innovations to market.”
Kevin brings a wealth of experience and a strategic growth vision to Netsal. “I was a fan of Netstal long before I joined,” he reflects. “My career has been centered on building and scaling industrial businesses across the Americas and global markets, with leadership roles spanning commercial strategy, operations, finance, and organizational transformation. My experience as a Netstal customer was exceptionally positive. I will never forget my experience, running injection molding processes at a previous company during the Covid-19 pandemic; Netstal offered the most responsive and impactful support and systematically got us back on production at a time when we were short staffed and struggling with excessive downtime.
“When the opportunity to join Netstal was presented to me, I eagerly engaged. The opportunity to build on Netstal’s engineering strength and deep customer focus and leverage Krones scale to invest in and grow Netsal Americas is amazing. We have tremendous growth potential across the Americas, particularly in demanding segments such as packaging, medical, closures, PET, and precision technical molding. Even with the current market uncertainty and turmoil, we are winning with customers and delivering systems to the Americas.

“My vision for such growth is built around four priorities: people, proximity, performance and partnership. First, we want to emulate Krones’ repeated success, being named the top place to work by USA Today in 2025 and again in 2026. We will continue to invest in making Netstal the safest and most desirable place to work. Secondly, we will continue to take every opportunity to become closer to our customers, commercially, technically, and operationally, by strengthening our regional presence and capabilities.
“Third, we are laser focused on helping customers improve productivity, energy efficiency, precision, and total cost of ownership through our high-performance injection molding platforms. Lastly, we are expanding our already-comprehensive value proposition to partner more meaningfully with our customers. This strategic pillar includes expanding lifecycle service, preventive and predictive maintenance, process optimization, full-scale refurbishment, spare parts support, training, and greater production capability in the Americas.”
Despite complex operating environments with tariffs, geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory change, raw-material volatility, and supply chain challenges, Netstal is accelerating American growth. “The Krones relationship is already having a tangible impact on our growth, and our collaboration with MHT is creating additional momentum, particularly where our technologies and customer relationships are highly complementary,” Kevin shares. “We are seeing strong quarter-over-quarter growth and, importantly, that growth is accelerating, which gives us real confidence in our trajectory. We are optimistic about our performance because the fundamentals are in place: stronger partnerships, broader capabilities, a more compelling value proposition, and increasing customer confidence across our key markets.
“Netstal will continue to strengthen its leadership position in our core target markets while becoming more deeply integrated with the broader Krones ecosystem, which provides access to scale, technology and innovation capacity that will materially accelerate our development roadmap. AI will be a major part of that future – not as a future concept, but as a practical tool to improve customer outcomes. We see significant opportunities to use AI and smart factory technologies to increase OEE, reduce energy utilization, improve process stability, enhance predictive maintenance, and lower unit-cost economics.
“We also intend to build an even more meaningful presence in the US, including greater local capability to produce parts, systems and solutions in closer proximity to our customers,” Kevin concludes. “Ultimately, our vision is to combine Netstal’s precision molding expertise with Krones’ digital and industrial scale to deliver faster, smarter, and more localized value across the Americas.”
