Originally established in 2000 in Oldcastle, Ontario, Integrity began its journey operating in a leased space inside of an existing facility. In its early days, the company focused on acquiring used equipment and embraced a philosophy of never turning down a challenge. The team’s ability to adapt, modify, and enhance processes to meet customer requirements proved successful and led to continuous growth. Presently, the business has expanded substantially, boasting over 790 team members and operating in 12 facilities spread across four countries. This includes seven locations in Canada, two in Mexico, two advanced research and development (R&D) and mold manufacturing sites in Italy, and one location in Tennessee. The total space occupied exceeds 50,000 square meters, with more than 10,000 new complex tools delivered to customers worldwide. 

Recently, Integrity enhanced its operational footprint and capabilities with the opening of its HD2 facility in Canada, located directly across the street from its original HD (High Definition) site. Spanning approximately 33,500 square feet, HD2 features a spacious shop floor, a programming office, a café-inspired lunchroom, and a boardroom. Integrity HD is notable for being one of the first multi-bay manufacturing facilities in the area to be constructed with a single-column design. This layout not only creates an aesthetically pleasing interior but also makes the facility easier to maintain, as per 6S Lean methodology. Each bay is equipped with a 50-ton crane and a 16×16 bay door for deliveries. Before any product leaves the shop, it passes through a dedicated inspection area to ensure it meets all of Integrity’s standards, including surface finish, precision of functional features, and overall completeness. The south-facing windows on the shop floor and in the break room eliminate the need for skylights and flood the facility with natural light, making HD2 a welcoming environment for many hardy plant species. Additionally, floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the second-story meeting spaces overlook the shop floor, further enhancing the openness of the facility. 

The new facility significantly enhances Integrity’s operational capabilities through a range of advanced machinery. Indeed, HD2 houses eight state-of-the-art CNC machines: two Correa Fox models, four DMG 270u machines with pallet changers, and two DMG 270p machines. These machines are integrated into a centralized conveyor system that automatically transports steel chips to the appropriate disposal bins, thereby streamlining waste management and further improving operational efficiency. 

These state-of-the-art facilities such as HD2, in combination with a team of dedicated and expert staff, deliver Team Integrity’s outstanding end-to-end global services. Describing itself as a one stop shop, its extensive range of capabilities are what set it apart from standard tool and moldmakers. Starting with advanced feasibility studies and part design, it stretches through mold flow, mold design, mold manufacture and mold validation. 

Additionally, as an incremental or independent service, Integrity provides R&I prototype tooling, nano/femto laser technology, machining, on-site/off-site emergency repair, ejector box manufacturing, molding support, RIM, IMD, IMF tooling and micro-optic manufacturing. 

Calling this approach ‘Integrity’s Complete Service’, the business makes it available at every Integrity location. Thanks to this global capacity, Integrity can adjust and plan around capacity variations, should they arise. 

The importance of environmental sustainability continues to intensify for businesses everywhere, and Integrity has not only risen to this challenge, but plans to exceed all expectations. Every investment made by Integrity aims to positively impact both the global and local environment. For example, the company has installed LED Lighting and solar panels across its facilities to reduce energy consumption. Switching to energy-efficient LED lighting was crucial in minimizing environmental impact by decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. Meanwhile, solar panels empower Integrity to transition to renewable energy sources, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating climate change by lowering carbon emissions. This shift also promotes energy independence, lower electricity bills over the long term, and a more sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure for future generations.

To complement its investments in solar, the company has implemented a battery energy storage system. This investment boosts energy resilience, mitigates the impact of power outages, integrates renewable energy sources more effectively, optimizes energy usage by storing excess energy during off-peak hours, reduces peak demand charges, and supports a more stable and sustainable grid infrastructure. On the operational front, Integrity has embraced electric forklifts, further reducing its carbon footprint. Additionally, it enhances workplace safety through quieter, emission-free operations and offers long-term cost savings through lower fuel and maintenance expenses. 

Looking to the wider community outreach of Integrity, the company empowers team members to contribute to local causes and organizations close to their hearts through an internal program called Integrity Cares. To date, the Integrity Cares Board has hosted several local organizations for donation cheque presentations while learning about how its support makes a difference. One notable example is Integrity Cares’ recent contribution toward the Community Support Centre of Essex County’s School Backpack Program. The initiative’s $1500 donation to CSC funded the purchase of 120 fully-stocked backpacks for children in need in Windsor-Essex, eliminating financial barriers to children and their families so they could start the 2025-26 school year off right. In addition, the Integrity Cares team held a Toy & Can Drive event ahead of the 2024 holiday season to support local children’s charities and food banks. The event was attended by 120 Integrity team members and their families, and they were able to fill several vehicles with donated items.
