The solution? Establishing a centralized data platform or ‘control tower’ powered by ultra low-cost IoT devices and tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 to unlock full end-to-end visibility and smarter decision-making. Data must also be accurate, actionable and trusted. Speakers stressed the need for accessible, well-structured data to drive meaningful results from analytics and AI. The panel also noted the importance of people in digital transformation, emphasizing that change management is where most projects falter.
