Wulftec International designs custom solutions tailored to diverse industry needs Wulftec International (Wulftec) is a premier provider of packaging solutions. With equipment that is customizable, easy to set up and operate, and also durable enough to withstand even the harshest conditions, the company offers its customers peace of mind, knowing that their goods are in safe hands with packaging equipment that meet their exact needs. President Priscille Tremblay details the business’ history: “We were founded back in 1990 and since then we’ve become a leading manufacturer of standard and customized stretch wrapping equipment. Over the years, we’ve expanded our production line to include the strapping machine, pallet handling equipment, and other innovative products. We’re committed to quality and innovation; these are both elements that have driven our growth and established our brand name as one of the most trusted in the industry when it comes to packaging. “We provide a wide range of solutions, from wrapping and strapping machines to pallet handling equipment. The key is that all these products are designed and manufactured by us under one roof. They also all integrate together to offer a complete system to our end users. Our equipment is designed to meet the needs of various industries, including food and beverage, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and construction, just to name a few. They also need to operate in very harsh environments, so we ensure our equipment is robust so it can withstand abuse. They are built with minimal maintenance requirements to save time and trouble for our customers. “We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, user-friendly heavy-duty equipment. The goal is to help our customers improve their packaging process and safeguard their goods. Another important factor is that we build standard and customized solutions. We offer affordable customization by designing our system around the customer’s needs. We have a platform that can be adapted to the specific requirements of any situation. This definitely differentiates us in the market; we evaluate the customer’s facility, their needs, their product. We think about the future and then come up with a solution where the customer will become more efficient and more productive. Most manufacturers simply offer a standard line to which their customers then need to adapt their operation, so adaptability this is one of the biggest advantages that we offer our clients. “Our motto is ‘we fear no packaging challenge.’ Therefore, a lot of customers will come to us when they have a specific challenge with how they package their product or how they can fit a piece of equipment into their facility or even how they can automate their line. They’ll come to us because they know we’ll design an entire solution and come up with new features, new options, and new customizations that we’ve never made before, just for them. They will be especially for this customer in order to ensure that they can achieve their goals. Clients need to protect their product but also get to market at a competitive price point. We do everything we can in order to keep their costs down with reliable equipment providing a reliable package. “Buying equipment necessarily incurs costs, but when a company has to adapt their operation around a piece or several pieces of machinery, costs can quite quickly escalate. By offering bespoke solutions, we save our clients’ money which is then in turn passed on to the end consumer. “The inherent durability of our products also contributes to the savings, requiring less maintenance and lasting longer. We use high-quality materials. We carefully select our suppliers and the brands that we work with to make sure that we use the best materials and parts available. We also use advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards. When it comes to our products, we make sure never to sacrifice or compromise the quality. “Additionally, we’re committed to customer satisfaction. Making sure that the customer has a great experience with us starting from the initial interactions, all the way through to when they’re using their new equipment. We spend a lot of time focusing on providing an excellent after-sales service. This is also something that sets us apart from our competitors. We want to have the best customer satisfaction possible by working with our clients closely and ensuring that we have fully investigated their needs all the way to after-sales to ensure that they’re supported with everything they need to succeed.” Wulftec has recently launched a new product which also helps its customers meet their sustainability goals. Priscille explains: “We released a new, all-electric Priscille Tremblay stretch wrapper last year. Originally, we integrated the technology with one machine model, but we’ve since expanded it to all of our different models. The all-electric stretch wrapper offers great performance, especially regarding energy efficiency. We use advanced control systems and a user-friendly interface. We keep the process simple; it doesn’t have to become very complex just because it is electric. We replace the proven features on our equipment with electric rather than pneumatic components. That innovation complements our existing portfolio and provides customers with more options to meet their packaging needs, but also to support their sustainability goals. “The technology was also developed in order to operate in environment that are cold or humid to eliminate the recurring issues with non-adapted pneumatic components for these environments. Another significant benefit that this option offers customers is it eliminates the need to install expensive airlines or compressors that are used in pneumatic models. This eradicates the additional cost for our customers when they build a new line or building.” Priscille then takes a moment to reflect on the factors that have contributed to the company’s longevity as it celebrates its 35th anniversary: “It’s a very proud achievement for us all, and what makes it even more special is we have so many people still working here who have been here since the beginning. The primary drivers behind our longevity, along with our dedicated team of employees, come down to an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.” Looking to the year ahead and beyond, Priscille concludes by outlining the company’s ambitions going forward: “We will be focusing on growing our geographical footprint, as well as expansions into new markets. Further afield we feel there are many potential customers around the globe who would benefit from our products. In the next five years, we will be the global leader in packaging solutions.” https://www.wulftec.com 4 June 20253 June 2025 Iain Wrapping, Strapping, Pallet Handling, Packaging, Canada, Quebec, 236, Wulftec International, Priscille Tremblay 6 min read PackagingInsights
